Your generosity to the Dallas High Shoals Christan Ministry allows us to buy food and financial assistance for scared, expecting mothers like Madison*

As a young pregnant woman, Madison had recently Escape a domestic violence situation and found herself living at a women's shelter. We have strong relationships with our local partners, and her caseworker called us. Madison would deliver soon. The plan was to settle her into a new home so that she wouldn't have to return to the shelter with her newborn. The caseworker had found her a safe place, but there was no money to turn the power on or pay the first month's utility bill.

Our volunteers and staff got to work ensuring those two items were paid for as Madison entered into the hospital to deliver her new baby. Just two short days later, Madison left the hospital and walked into her new place. It was warm, calm, safe, and full of light. In tears, Masdison shared her gratitude with us, but we share it with you because you make it possible.

This year, we continue to see a significant increase in need. Antioch Lutheran Church has responded with a $10,000 matching gift offer. For every dollar raised during this campaign, they will match it dollar for dollar up to $10,000. We invite you to make a spring gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, or even $1000 or more to support our neighbors like Madison knowing your gift may be doubled.
